Kitchora processes personal data of its customers, potential customers, and other contact persons. We do this in order to execute a potential agreement. In this privacy policy, we explain why and in what way we process your personal data.

Occasionally, we send out newsletters and/or mailings. Sometimes these are personalized based on certain actions you have taken or products and/or services you purchase from us. You always have the option to adjust your preferences for receiving newsletters and mailings.

Information and access: You can, of course, view the personal data we process about you. We are also happy to tell you more about how and why we process that data.

Rectification: If you believe we have incorrect data about you, please let us know and we will adjust it.

Erasure (Right to be forgotten): You can request the deletion of the personal data we hold about you. It is possible that we may still need to process that data for other purposes (such as administration or deduplication).

Restriction: If you feel that we are processing your personal data unlawfully or incorrectly, you can request to restrict that processing.

Objection: You can object to the processing of your personal data. If it concerns marketing, we will terminate that processing as quickly as possible.

Data portability: This is a right under the GDPR to transfer your personal data or have it transferred. If you wish to make use of this, please contact us.
Additionally, you can also:
- Withdraw consent: For example, for receiving email mailings. If you wish to withdraw consent for any other processing, you can contact us. This can be done via info@kitchora.eu.
- File a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens – AP): Do you believe that we are not acting in accordance with privacy legislation? If so, we would of course like to hear from you. You can also file a complaint regarding this with the AP.
How long do we retain your personal data?
Personal data may not be kept longer than necessary. The retention period depends on the purpose for which we received or collected the data and any legal obligations to retain data.
If you have requested a quote from us but did not become a customer, we will delete your data no later than two years after our last contact. Similarly, if we received a quote from you but did not become your customer, your personal data will be deleted no later than two years after our last contact. If you did become a customer of ours, or we of yours, we will retain your personal data for a period of seven years following the end of the fiscal year in which the agreement with you was fully executed. This seven-year period corresponds to the period during which we are legally required to retain our administration for the Tax and Customs Administration (Belastingdienst). After this period, we will delete your personal data.
Legal grounds for processing:
As explained above, we process some data to comply with a legal obligation, some for the performance of a contract, and most for the legitimate interest of Kitchora: fulfilling our company objectives. Transfer to third parties
In connection with the execution of a potential agreement with you, it is possible that we may need to provide your personal data to parties that supply products and/or services to us or perform work on our behalf. Furthermore, we utilize external server space for the storage of (parts of) our sales and purchase administration, of which your personal data forms a part. For this reason, your personal data is provided to our server space provider.
How Kitchora secures your personal data
We take the protection of your data seriously and take appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure, and unauthorized modification. If you feel that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of misuse, please contact us via info@kitchora.eu.
We have taken the following measures to secure your personal data:
